$60 million penthouse sale at Faena House breaks Miami record

miamibeachSorry, billionaires. The 12,516-square-foot penthouse at ultra-luxury condo Faena House in Miami Beach is officially off the market.

The eight-bedroom penthouse, which also features 9,900 square feet of outdoor space, closed this week for $60 million, or $4,794 per square foot, according to Faena’s representatives. That’s a new sales record for Miami residential real estate.

Check out the Dezervator in action

Dezervator-e1434136122354The Dezervator, arguably one of the Porsche Design Tower’s most talked-about amenities, has been patented, proven and is almost ready for use.

Engineers recently put the finishing touches on a nine-story miniature of the final product in Chicago, and have since been putting the concept through its paces. In the video below, you can watch how the fully automated system works on a test vehicle, which is — you guessed it — a Porsche. A metallic claw slides under the vehicle, pulls it into a glass-walled elevator and lifts it to the selected floor.

Setai two-story townhouse lists for $16.9M

setai-A two-story townhouse at the Setai Resort & Residences in Miami Beach, totally tricked out with sound and light, has listed for $16.9 million, The Real Deal has learned.

“Air Beach House,” the 3,627-square-foot unit TH-A is the only townhouse at the Setai with a direct beachfront view, according to listing agents Beatriz Nahuz and Claudia Murad, founders of Unique Living Miami, an affiliate of The Solution Group. The price equates to $4,659 per square foot.

Owner Doug Rogers, a well known digital sound engineer who is the founder of Los Angeles-based Eastwest, spent three years creating a white jewel box that transforms with sound and light, he told TRD.

Jade Signature, before and after
